Keng Keng Tan has over 20 years of experience in international business spanning three continents (Europe, North America and Asia Pacific). Her global experience ranges from Engineering, Marketing & Sales, Strategy & Business Development, OEM & Alliances, Market Intelligence and Consulting.

Before starting TransCultural Group, Keng Keng was vice president in an American company, leading its global research and consulting practice and business development efforts in Asia Pacific. She has enjoyed a successful and global Information Technology (IT) career, gaining respect and recognition from her Western and Asian peers alike. Companies she has worked for include Mars Inc, Lexmark International and Photizo Group, servicing global clients such as IBM, DELL, HP, Lenovo Group, ACER, Canon, Ricoh, Toshiba TEC, Samsung etc.

Keng Keng was born in Melaka (Malacca) Malaysia, after a traditional Chinese upbringing, she was sent to England for her education. In England, she obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng, Hons) from King’s College, University of London. Later, she obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Fuqua School of Business, Duke University, in the USA. In addition to that, she was also certified by the Cultural Intelligence Center (USA) as an Advanced CQ Certified Facilitator, and Richard Lewis Communication (UK) as an Advanced Trainer and Facilitator of “CultureActive” Profile Assessment tool. She has continued her life-long learning through INSEAD and Duke University Executive programs.

Besides her academic achievements, she is also a trained pianist with a Grade 8 for Pianoforte & Theory of Music (by the Associated Board of the Royal School of Music (England), and an amateur artist for leisure.With her strong belief in giving back to the community, Keng Keng served her tenure as Rotary Club of Bugis Junction, (Singapore)’s president in 2007/08. Currently, she serves as the club’s chair for the Rotary Foundation.

Keng Keng has lived in Malaysia, the United Kingdom, France and the United States. She speaks six (6) languages fluently, traveled to more than thirty (30) countries around the world before finally returning to Asia. She is French, and now lives happily in Singapore as its Permanent Resident.

Cultural matters and how they impact businesses and personal success are passionate subjects after her many years of global journey. It leads her to create a business to share and impart valuable experiences gathered by her own and her professional partners’ journeys. Participants from more than 20 countries have attended her workshops in Singapore, Switzerland, China, Malaysia, Indonesia and Philippines with 100% satisfaction rating. Last but not least, Keng Keng has contributed article to the Human Capital Leadership Institue (HCLI) and is also an author for a book encouraging youth in exploring and developing cross-cultural friendship.
