Celebrating the World Day for Diversity this May

Last month, we talked about Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) and the people we surround ourselves with within our spheres. This month, in celebrating the World Day for Diversity, I would like to share this clip (~ 2mins) from the United Nations.

World Diversity Day - video 1

“Five continents in one world, just like the five fingers on our hand!”

Indeed, we are one single human family on this planet. If you found the first clip interesting, here is an extended version (~25mins): “Mosaic. 7 billion Others.” To get the full impact, I recommend watching the clip uninterrupted till the end.

Like the stars on the night sky, I hope these clips have connected you, just like me, with the other 7 billion people out there.

Albeit our differences, fundamentally, we share the same fear, and we have the same hope.
